Zip Line Kits FAQ

A zipline kit is a complete setup that lets you install a recreational zipline at home. Kits will include a steel cable, trolley, seat, spring braking system, hardware and installation tools.

Our ziplines are designed for children aged 8 years and up, with a weight limit of 113kg. Always check the manufacturer's specifications to make sure it's suitable for your family.

Zipline kits usually use trees or solid posts as anchor points. When trees are used, tree protectors are strongly recommended to prevent bark damage and create an even load distribution.

Most zipline kits require a straight run of 20-30 metres. Adequate ground clearance is essential to avoid contact, with extra height at the start point to allow for natural sag in the cable under a load.

A zipline kit should be visually inspected before each use for signs of wear, loose fittings or cable damage. A more thorough inspection is recommended every few months, including checking anchors and tension.
