- Slide with Hose attachment

Our collection of slides with water features allows you to add a splash of fun to your regular slide, creating a water play experience that’s both cooling and exciting for kids of all ages. We offer a variety of slides in different sizes and colours to choose from, which are also compatible with a range of Lifespan Kids playgrounds, cubby houses or swing sets.
Why Add a Hose Attachment to Your Slide?
Adding a hose attachment for slide turns an ordinary slide into an exciting water play slide attachment! Here are some of the benefits:
- Cooling Fun: Nothing beats the heat like splashing water on a warm day. The water flow adds an extra element of excitement and refreshment to your child's playtime.
- Physical Activity: Kids get a fun way to stay active while playing in the water. Sliding down while being sprayed with water encourages both active movement and sensory play.
- Extended Play Time: The water feature makes the slide even more appealing, keeping kids entertained for longer, especially on warm days.
Safety Features
Here’s what to look for in kids’ water slides:
- Anti-Slip Surfaces: The slide should feature a textured or non-slip surface to ensure your child can slide down safely without slipping.
- Non-Toxic Materials: The slide should use materials that have passed Australian regulations that ensure non-toxic and non-flammable components have been used.
- Gentle Water Flow: A slide water hose attachment with a gentle, controlled water flow ensures that kids can enjoy the slide without the water causing unnecessary force or injury.
- Sturdy Construction: Look for slides made of durable, UV-resistant plastic to withstand the elements and ensure long-lasting play.
How to Attach the Hose
Setting up a slide with hose attachment is simple and quick:
- Drill a 4mm hole into the side to create a plug
- Attach your garden hose to the plug. Check the hose connection size before fitting it on.
- Once the hose is attached, turn on the water at a low pressure. The water will begin flowing over the slide, creating a fun, wet surface for sliding.
Maintenance Tips
- Clean After Use: Make sure to rinse the slide thoroughly after each use to remove any dirt or debris.
- Dry the Slide: After water play, let the slide dry completely to prevent mould or mildew growth.
- Store in a Dry Place: If possible, store the slide in a dry location when not in use, especially during the off-season, to extend its life.
Slide with Hose attachment FAQ
Setting up a slide with hose attachment is simple! Just connect your garden hose to the provided nozzle or connector, turn on the water and let the slide begin flowing with water.
We generally advise that our kids water slides with hose are best suited to children aged 3 and up, but this will also depend on their height and abilities. Make sure to supervise your child during water play and ensure the slide is securely positioned.
We offer a range of colours and sizes that are compatible with a hose attachment. Look for slides specifically designed with a hose connector to add water play features.
Most slide water hose attachments require a low water pressure setting to ensure a gentle water flow. Turn on the hose gradually and adjust the pressure to your liking to create the perfect sliding experience.
Plastic slides are ideal for water play because they are durable, UV-resistant and easy to clean. These slides can withstand constant water exposure and outdoor conditions, making them a great investment for your backyard.
